tripper1000: I think the key point to stress here when dealing with the repairer or retailer is that the problem is cyclic.

They will say that bleed is normal, adjust settings etc and it is a difficult point to argue as the quantity of bleed is a bit subjective to measure and describe.

However, no matter how much bleed it has, or has not got, it shouldn't change, if everything else on the screen remains constant. If it has fluctuation without any provocation, then it is unarguably a defect.

UPDATE!!!! went into Appliance Shed at lunch and asked to speak to the manager... he came out and knew exactly who I was. I went armed with my Tablet with pictures and videos, a copy of the consumers rights guarantee's act, transcripts of all of my dealings with LG Customer support and Appliance shed & emails from LG. Laid them all out and started pleading my case...

The manager listened to what I had to say but was still saying that there is nothing he can do as LG have said his hands are tied, and that the TV is within specification ..... (Gaawwd) so there we were arguing for about half an hour. Until I remembered this post written above ^^ and started telling him how the problem was cyclic and if it was within specification then why would the problem come and go, especially why would the issue go away after a couple of hours of viewing... I went on to tell him how "I know its not you guys trying to rip me off, its just unfortunate that LG customer service is poor $%^&* and how they are dicking both of us around. Also I mentioned to him about these forums =D and how I had posted photos and videos and descriptions up about this case, how you guys as a whole had supported my thoughts and the forum is waiting to see the outcome of this =P )

So he made a call back to LG and then gave me a FULL REFUND!!!!  .... THANK YOU guys so much for your help input and guidance as without the help of forums like these it would leave innocent people squashed on and walked over on a daily basis.

( Bonus Marks for mentioning the forum =D & tripper1000's words of wisdom =D )

Now to find another TV, popped into Harvey Norman and saw a Panasonic 60AS700Z 60inch LED,Passive 3D, IPS.... but was told that LG makes the panel.... hmmmm.... dunno yet

And if anyone on these forums has a 2013 LG TV that is magic remote ready and wants one cheap then PM me as I no longer need mine, still Mint and has 10 months warranty left at Harvey Norman ( comes with the plug in dongle =D )

AN MR400
