The RB951G is old now. If he is running Ubiquiti access points then picking up an Ubiquiti USG along with a UniFi switch is the better plan.

Yes I just checked it and the current count of devices connected is 32.

Yes I just checked it and the current count of devices connected is 32.

So this is the issue.

You will need to upgrade to more suitable hardware to meet your requirements.

The RB951G is now a pretty much obsolete product that is pretty low spec. I wouldn't recommend one for a fibre connection with 32 users. There is also need for onboard wireless since they're using UniFi hardware.

The HEx S or RB750Gr3 would both be far more suitable and both are cheaper.

Probably you are right. I used many RB951G one year ago for many small companies when I worked in an ISP company, it worked very good, but maybe your mentioned products are better, which I do not look recently.

Anyhow, the points is, Huawei HG659 is for residential or small company with only 2-3 persons and total devices qty less than 12 around, according to my experience; If an office need to support more than 20 devices, then it is better to use a better router for routing only and use UAP for wifi.
