Is that a fibre intact address by chance?

Can you provide examples? I'm not seeing any issues here with all my usual test addresses.

You could be seeing caching if your using the same address.

Love the wording “consistent quality” in ADSL/Vdsl dicription, are they implying that they know Wireless 4g is crap in peak periods

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Have you done extensive controlled testing of 4G wireless vs Fibre in terms of single (and multi) thread performance at controlled latency and packet loss levels and generated results showing ramp rate and throughput at down to a resolution of 100ms? (at several locations?)

I have. You're wrong.

ADSL and VDSL are more consistent moment to moment because of characteristics of the mobile network. There are also definitely some sites where there is some peak time dropoff. Characterising the service in general as "crap in peak periods" is the sort of baseless comment that discredits any other statements you make.

Cheers - N

I just checked my own address and apparently I can only get ADSL and VDSL. However we are running a gigabit fibre plan albeit with another provider.

hio77: This is all sorted.

Appoligies for the delay.

Hmm, no change here, just checked the same address as I PMed you, which is fiber and was working fine previously. Recommending 4g and VDSL only.

On mobile Chrome if that matters.

Ok as of 9am this morning its working. Sadly however after all that Spark's online form are advising install date of the 13th, which needlessly long from now IMO. Ill go elsewhere for quicker install time.

What makes you think changing isps will make the process faster?

The ISP doesn't install the fibre hthe LFC does. Will likely take the same time no matter which ISP you are with.

System had  prod this morning and is all flowing now

I'm also not seeing an order placed at your address.. i'd suspect it's gone down the secondary ONT path..

Please DM me the order reference.

No one is installing any actual fiber, this is an admin process delay.
Stuff already confirmed install/activation date of the 7th. The house already has (Spark) fiber. I expect faster turn around.
