rscole86: Cannot reach telegram.org on Skinny mobile or Spark fibre.
The app appears to load some of the channels, but the official one wouldn't load any images until I went to a VPN connection.

+1 Skinny mobile. If I load tunnel bear VPN site loads fine.

Christchurch.

Ugh, I tried to raise a ticket with Skinny by chatting to someone online.  First, they tried to tell me that I should reinstall Telegram on my phone.  Then they tried to tell me that Telegram is unfortunately not supported in New Zealand.  And finally, they said that I need to contact Telegram support who can assist.

Brilliant.

Anyone else reconsidering their use of Telegram after watching "Fire and the Fury"?

I had it installed on my phone, but after hearing it's mostly used by antivaxxers spreading their bs, I uninstalled it. Still have Signal installed though.

Lots of android stuff left XDA and went to telegram.

It's a good fallback to Facebook messenger when you want to share an image without compression

I dare say, it would appear they've fixed it!

The page web.telegram.org works for me (page loads and a QR code appears) but keeping in mind I'm on a Skinny Fibre connection but I use CloudFlare DNS so maybe that is what is making the difference.

Yeah the issue has been resolved and appears to have been isolated.

Thanks to everyone that chimed in with their own tests / results.
