Twitter, com and all the associated aren't working for me, or only some of the time. 3rd party Twitter providers are ok.

Amazon is deader than dead, and so are some others.

Decided to log a call anyway and surprisingly got through rather quickly. The operator acknowledged that there was an issue but was unable to provide me with any information as to what it was or how long it would be until it was fixed.

Oh well... :/

DravidDavid: This link is not working for me at all.  I just get a blank page:

http://soldiersystems.net/2010/12/04/surefire-magazines/

Facebook refuses to load some thumb-nails and www.xtra.co.nz is incredibly slow.

This site is working for me. Can you please retest and let me know if it is still an issue for you?

Paul

Oldhat: I have tried amazon.com while connected through the cache farm and was unable to access. I have since restarted and currently are not connecting through the cache farm and amazon.com is accessible.

Old dsl connection using assigned 202 DNS servers

Cache originally connecting through 1.1 AKmdrL2CacheBC8.telecom.co.nz

I can replicate issues with Amazon, can you please let me know if you are accessing www.amazon.com or amazon.com?

This issue is quite curly.

If you browse to http://72.21.214.128/ does the amazon site load?

I'm not entirely sure it's a cache problem ONLY.

I regularly ping many servers across NZ and since Friday morning, many of the packets are being lost. Not all, the issue is intermittent it would seem. Sometimes we can get a ping through every minute for a whole hour and other times nothing. 1 ping a minute is lost for about 5 minutes.

Also, our UDP traffic is okay - we have 10 VoIP lines on our Telecom connections and they're not effected.

We've already replaced out Cisco877 ADSL router with a Cisco1801 ADSL to check if it was the ADSL modem.

Same problem.

Hi Paul,

I would imagine that I would have used www.amazon.com as it isn't a site I actually access. I haven't managed to get an IP using the cache since my original restart, so can't confirm if this is cache related or not.

The 7 IP addresses I have connected with since have not experienced any issues ie 122, 125, 219 ranges.

Getting slower and slower... thinking about tethering my iPhone (Vodafone). This has been going on all day way over it.
