If you set it up as UDP, it won't be able to tell you. You'll really only be able to tell when your registration succeeds, and you're able to receive calls.

I am unable to correctly adjust this wag310g.  Cant find anything online either.  Seems to be the heart of the problem.

Is this so wrong?  That is the ip of the phone.

But now the phone isnt registered at all.

The single port forwarding menu just gives me choices of applications i have to use.

The port range triggering menu....  I have tried in there  but seems to be the same.
Any suggestions?

I know the phone isnt registerd.  But at least the NAT is open?  I notice that the NTP function isnt working on the phone.  As when it used to work it would immediately set the right time as well.

cheers

Your doing a whole UDP and TCP range to 192.168.1.66... !!!

Use the single port forward UDP only for 5063 to 192.168.1.66

You need to create a "Service" that you can forward to an internal host, using the "Service" page of the applications & gaming tab on your router,
See here.

In the boxes below, add:
Service Name: SIP on 5063
Protocol: UDP(17)
Ports: 5063 to <blank>

Then click "Add Service". you should then be able to set up that new entry in the "single port forwarding" page.

Wow great stuff.

That info will be useful for many people.   Now I have lost registration on my phone. I did make it udp.

Seems very buggy.  I had the option to delete it.  Then that added service
doesn't show the option to delete it.  Seems everytime you go into that portion of menus its doing different things.

Will have to have a play around with it to sort out the quirks.
Cheers again for the help so far.
