gingereejit: Much more stable in Kilbirnie, not drop outs tonight.
4Mbs/2Mbs to WorldXChange
4Mbs/2Mbs to Airnet
but only
1.1Mbs/200kbps to Citylink
What's that about?
Nety:lchiu7: Not in Khandallah yet - activity light on continuously
On continuously is good not bad... strobing is bad. It works that traffic is shown by the led going out. If there was no traffic at all then the led would stay on all the time.

Quidam: Well, over the next couple of weeks, it would be great if people who have previously been having issues report back as to whether or not the ARP fix has made a noticeable improvement. Initial responses seem very good, but I think we need longer to properly guage the impact.
For myself, I was unpleasently surprised when I suffered a complete room-drop (while hosting) last night. But it only happened once, so I cannot read much into it. Certainly, I'm still very optimistic that going forward, I will be enjoying a much more stable connection -but I guess we will see.

lchiu7: Well only a short time so far but since the ARP traffic on my segment (Khandallah) has been reduced dramatically I have removed my Linksys router with the patched firmware and put back my D-Link DI-784. So far (2 days) no dropouts or microoutages that used to plague me all the time. So something is working better than before.
