Benjip: I received the TXT too, I'm on the iPhone 60 plan (3G not 3GS). Hopefully it's some kinda deal to upgrade to the 3GS - I want video recording so am tempted to buy either the 3GS or a new iPod nano.

Nope

Oi! I thought you didn't know about this top secret experience?

Come on, it's never been like Johnr to give a straight answer.
Trolling answers are more like it IMO...

Wow so the 'secret' is out - it's some lame thing called 'v box' which is basically a small web portal where you can enter competitions and get minor discounts on crap phones. You'd think that they'd launch such a portal with something better than 'save $150 on this $900 handset that would be $300 from the US'.

I didn't get a text. And they're trying to convince me to renew my contract? Not much incentive. Oh well.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

At the moment the competitions are:

1. Win one of 250 double music passes to the Vodafone NZ Music Awards in October
2. VF are giving away $200 of credit
3. Win tickets to Air NZ Cup matches in Auckland and Christchurch
4. Giving away a NZ music CD every day in October
5. 5x Nokia 5320 phones to give away

Plus my "personal" offers are discounts off new phones (Nokia 5800 and 5320, SE T707), $100 off upcoming Acer Aspire One 531 3G netbook, winning a table for 10 at the VF NZ Music Awards, a free track to download each day but they are first come, first served (3000 each day).

Nice gesture, but nothing there appeals to me.

Can't be Vbox - it's been around for about 3 years.

Well it is, it's what I've just signed up to. It's called v.box and the website is vbox.co.nz

Interesting - maybe the "secret" is that they're opening it up to more people.

I've had the vbox for a few years now and haven't found anything really cool in there. I've entered the comps of course, but they seem to have removed most of the comps this month....

Well it's been more than 7 days after I got the original text, and I have not nothing else since.
