Then why can't I still do an update without W10 trying to download.

I've been running W10 for months, works well. Give it another shot if you can't keep it rolled back.

spicynz: that kb was the first thing I got rid of. What do you mean by "na definitely in the root of C drive, they were hidden so you might have to show them" ?


you need to "hide" this KB3035583 update ... did you hide it?

Yes I hid the kb, those files are nowhere to be found and the W10 update doesn't show untill I hit the install updates and then w10 starts downloading. There's no large update showing. I've even tried unticking all of them and installing one at a time but it's not one of those it must be a folder somewhere.
