I walked into noel leeming with a print out of the HN flyer showing the s3 at $386, the salesperson wasn't too sure if they could price match today but the manager came over and marked it down without any hassle. Also got a brother printer price matched to warehouse stationary.

That is very surprising. My local Noel lemmings refused to price match anything in the HN flyer, due to them saying that their terms allowed to get out of pricematching where stock is restricted to 1 per customer. They said that as the HN brochure said that items were restricted to 'one per customer' on the brochure, that was enough for them to get out of honouring their price match guarantee.  Yet their terms said they can only get out of honouring it if it is 'limited stock', which implied to me that it was when they had only a few to sell and stock was very limited, which wasn't the case in terms of most g HN products. Noel Lemmings price promise  is so vaguely written that they could get out of price matching anything if they didn't want to. Ironically 'The Warehouse 'price matched the goods for me without any problem, even though it is owned by the same parent company. They don't seem to have the damages of fine print. Wish these price matching schemes where more regulated by the commerce commission so they are more transparent, and they can't hide behind their fine print.
