Oh and it looks like you can buy a 1-year Norton protection (for 1 device) for $20, then get a $20 cashback, effectively rendering it free! - http://salefinder.co.nz/5528/computers/software/norton-360-multidevice/548325/

Anyone have experience with GVA brand TVs? The Good Guys have a 1080P 32" LCD for $300 which sounds like a decent deal.

Careful with those sorts of things, because when something is offered for free, they often require you to enter your credit card, and they automatically renew at the end of the free period, and at full price.

Considered a Surface but sounds like Microsoft are dumping Windows RT next year? The already small pool of apps will no doubt dry up pretty fast.
Might be tempted if someone can confirm it's easy enough to get the Netflix app in NZ :)

Yes. All you have to do is, change the system region to US under control panel and restart the Windows Store app. You will then be presented with the US sore where you can download Netflix etc.

Do whatever you want to do man.

EhsanV: Hi all

Is it too soon to think about Boxing Day bargains? Any rumors ?

Regards

I saw one in my inbox from PB Tech that looked interesting until I discovered I would need to actually visit the store to get the deal. No thanks!
