Looks like I got my bump last night - New Lynn/Greenbay area and on Snap Degrees.

Went from 30/10 to 49/10 - happy camper.

JamesL:
Jase2985: @JamesL im guessing your INP and delay has dropped though, which would indicate you are back to DLM-1 and because of that you have lost a little speed to keep the line stable. Probably just DLM doing its thing

Maybe, but I'm still pinging 20ms on my first hop vs 4ms when I was on DLM

Spark line is still at 58Mbps

Jimmy

You could re sync later at a worse or better speed too. Depends on crosstalk. If you resume during a non busy period you should get a better rate. Your ping will drop will take about a month to get back to something lower like 4~6ms.

Poor Aussies pay $300mth for 20/20 shdsl in Melbourne and that's a good line too so having VDSL speeds with downloads of 70mbit for what we pay here is great by comparison. I Keep hearing about how bad NBN is.

Line standard VDSL2
Downstream line rate (kbit/s) 70000
Upstream line rate (kbit/s) 28595
Downstream SNR (dB)  12.4
Upstream SNR (dB)  11.9
Downstream line attenuation (dB) 6.3
Upstream line attenuation (dB) 2.7

Very Happy :D

Nooo... Sync speed has dropped :(

Now syncing at 63278 kbps (compared to 68264 kbps)

Speedtest has decreased to around ~56Mbps, and ping has increased to ~20ms.

Still, faster than what we were getting before...

DLM is doing its thing. Ping is back to 6ms. Down is a rock-solid 43.5 and up is 8.7. I've lost about 1 down and gained 10 up, which j think is a most acceptable trade. The extra speed has resulted in noticeable improvement in Hulu streaming, which used to stall and drop during long episodes of The Voice. Now getting beautiful HD for all 1.5+ hours of it. Don't judge me ;)

Your sync is identical to mine, Assuming its some limit with the cards in the cabinet or the modem?

So I've gone from the speeds in my signature, to 37/8. Not terrible since I don't do a huge amount of uploading, but it has been noticeable on a few times that I do need it.

Thread is huge, so may already be mentioned, but does chorus publish where 998 is due to roll out and where? Can't see it on their normal network map. (Just says '>20Mbps')

Information is given to RSPs for operational purposes. It is not intended to be publicised to end users as the schedule can (has, and may again) change.
