I just ordered from the online apple store, but can't tell what bands the unlocked 5S supports....does it support LTE on Vodafone and telecom. Or only one of them? Any ideas?

meme82: just called a telecom store and they said the gold is sold out nz wide?

Well I got one this morning, but that was at 9.30am... 16Gb, sounds like the larger gold ones haven't been available at all here.
Really happy with the colour - had to take a punt as they had none open to see, figured they'd be rare so someone would swap a grey one if necessary!  It's quite bronzey/coppery rather than shiny gold...

And man, these things are quick after using a 4 for the last three years (with the last month and a half on a cheap loaner Android while I waited!). Never realised how much of the wait in Safari or Facebook or Twitter was the device rather than the internet.  iOS7 blazes on it compared to the iPad 3 too...

aww...will have to try later tonight then, can't take time off work unfortunately! I've ordered a 16gb gold from apple yes! though the shipping dates are now for the 19th instead of the 11th of November - 'sad face'

looking forward to the speed as I'm still on my limping along 3GS!

I have just ordered a 32Gb 5s in space grey along with a Tech21 Impact Trio case and a couple of spare lightning cables as I like to keep one at work, at home and in the car. This will replace my 4S which I ordered on the launch day of that model.

The delivery estimate is 19 - 20 November which is quite a long wait, but no problem as my 4S is still working fine.

Well, that was frustrating.  Went to the Telecom place store, they confirmed that I could buy on an Open Term plan and cancel after 30 days.  They only had 32GB silver in stock, and I was after 64GB so went to the Queen St store instead.  They had stock of the 64GB in silver, but would only sell it on 24 month fixed term plans!  So Apple can have my money instead.

does anyone know if telecom will start to sell them outright on prepay? and will they stock 64gb?

and most important question - is buying from apple or buying from telecom better in terms of warranty during warranty period and after warranty period (aka cga)?

many thanks
