Just received, and installed my Element Vapor Case.

If the RETINA display Screams, the case shouts Quality.

Love the case!

Can you post some pics of it I'm still on the fence about it. The concept pics looked great but the reviews for the end product had some things I don't like

Nice, thanks for the photos, that's exactly the combo I was gonna use, except black/silver vapor with white leather back.

What do you think of the case so far? I think not being able to use third party headphones are going to put off alot of people.

i think it's a good, high quality case. Design wise i don't see any problems with it. The headphones that comes with the phone fits the case perfectly, as with my Bose quiet comfort 2 noise cancelling headphones.

Of course, not all headphones will fit but i imagine if it's similar size to the one apple ships with it will fit fine.

The only complain i have is the carbon fiber back plate, which is really a sticker made from carbon fiber that you put on the back, and not really a plate per say. So i won't recommend adding that if you decided to order one.

Notice any significant drop in reception as reported by numerous other users?

Didn't notice drop in reception. All good for me. I understand why they did a sim slot though, cause you will need a hex screw to remove the casing. If you need to change SIM on the fly, this is the way to do it i guess. It doesnt bother me as much. :)

What has everyone been ordering from the Free iPhone 4 Case App?

I have to order soon (you only get 30 days) and I'm not sure what to go for?

well you can get polycarb cases - speck fitted, griffin reveal (i think) and belkin shield micra which encase the whole iphone in plastic goodness. TPU which are the similar to the polycarb ones but a bit more squishy - pixelskin HD, griffin motif. and silicon - which apple do not offer... whoops my bad...

i shud say those thin feather cases - incase snap

protection wise, polycarb>TPU>thin feather cases

and of course there's the apple bumper which looks the best but unsure about hte actual protection offered...

ilounge has a nice over view of most of the offered cases
http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/backstage/comments/apple-iphone-4-case-program-here-are-the-best-worst-picks/

btw im intersted to know, are there any cases on the case program that ilounge have not covered? i wonder if apple have been changing the case choices, i cant check - already made my order
