I'm finding the Plus very good.

I think it depends on what you want to do with the phone.

My wife has a normal 6 and as a hand held telephone, it is IMV the better size.

However, I almost always use a Plantronics BT headset with my phone, so the size of the handset is largely irrelevant as I do not hold it to my ear very often. For video calls, gaming, watching TV and reading, the larger screen and higher res are a bonus on the Plus - as is OIS on the camera.

Horses for courses and thanks to Apple for giving us the choice.

Thanks to Samsung, LG, One plus One, HTC, Nokia et al for getting the market for Phablets rolling for Apple to move into. Phablets really are the future of mobile.

I for one hope this isn't the case. I am slowing warming to the larger IP6 (but still often prefer the form factor of the 5) and would hate to have to put up with the form factor of the 6+ or things of that nature regularly.

Actually I think there will be a market for both, the Phablet is a great idea, but it is a BIG phone, it will mean I will either have to take my older Iphone with me when I ride my horse, or not have a phone with me, which is not really an option as I ride alone and horses are unpredictable, a fall can happen at any time, and broken bones are a fact of life around horses.

Back to the point, I can see a market for a 4", 5" and 5.5"+ phone, but there will always be a market for all of them.

BTW, Thanks very much Steve, it was a pleasure to meet you, and we both got what we wanted in the end.

Enjoy the 6, it really is a beautiful phone, and the gold doesn't look anywhere near as bad as it sounds on paper!

I had some issues with the plus too. For some reason it thought there was 14gb of "other" that needed to be loaded so wouldn't load all my music. Took some off then it reduce the "other" to less of than 1gb.

I haven't really seen any specific ios8 issues and the battery is over 50% with playing with it all day

Oh bizarre .. thats good about the battery life!
I found others on the Apple forums that found a fix to getting pictures to sync from icloud.. turning off "find my phone" and it started working...

I dont feel apple has nailed ios 8.. I feel 7 was better at launch :S

Its still a great phone :) once its finished restoring it will be better ha
