I'm still getting 5-20% packet loss in BF4 (Xbox One) connected to AUS servers... Ping seems to go from a steady 60 to 2-300 randomly...

Runs fine during the day or over my 3G connection at night...

Looks like one of the US trans-Pacific links had an issue about 7:30pm and it took some 10mins for traffic levels to return, that may have had knock-on effects on other routes, I'll get a report on it tomorrow morning.

Can't see any congestion, can you get a tracert, its not enough to go on without seeing where you are getting the packet loss.

Jedateach: Based on the addresses I found googling.

Latency looks fine until after our network, the latency jumps up as the traffic goes into the US networks.

We have raised the 7:30pm issue with the carrier but this looks unrelated....

You may want to note as well that the CSGO servers haven't been performing optimally today either.

This is Dota 2, note the latency is effecting the first hop, but the 3rd hope is fine (Why?), Mumble is also effected.

Video of Dota 2: https://mediacru.sh/vdnk3T1EkYGj (this looks a lot worse than 2 seconds)

Archeage had a massive DDOS attack over the weekend. Constant disconnects. It was ok Monday afternoon.

Got home and for some reason my fibre is completely down :(. Logged a ticket with the overseas company that runs tech support but he had no clue as to what was going on. So I guess I'll have to wait a few weeks for a tech to turn up.

brookz - PM me your account and I'll take a look, ticket reference too if you have one.

We haven't forgotten about this issue, we have two relevant changes going in tonight after midnight.

Sorry about last night, streaming the KDC Town Hall meeting caused a very abnormal chunk of load and caused some normally fine links to run very hot.

For some reason the tech thought I was at my old house that I moved out of over a month ago, I guess the awesome overseas techs have been scribbling rubbish on my file :)

Edit: turns out the tech is a pro and has already found the issue. Hopefully back up tomorrow!

Root cause was unintended consequences of porting your old phone number out....will update tomorrow with sorting out progress....
