Woofjeb:

Hang on i talking about Slingshot here no insurance out fit have tried there to find a work around

that makes your story even worse.  Understandable from a customer service rep from an insurance company that isn't IT/telco literate.  But that sort of ignorance from a company like Slingshot is pathetic.

you have the power, you are the customer.

Threaten to close your account, because they are 100% factually incorrect and won't escalate to their manager, they'll normally put you thru to the "customer retention team" who should have a higher IQ than the idiot you've been speaking to.

Hi @Woofjeb,

What you are saying definitely doesn't sound right - I'm sorry that whoever you were dealing with didn't understand what you were asking.

I'll make sure the agent is made aware of the mistake and up skilled on our mobile products.

I can easily organise for your SIM card to be blocked, feel free to send my your account details in a direct message.

Let me know!

Cheers,

Matt

Hi thank you so much for your response
That I kept headings yesterday they wanted to block my sim card there is no reason to block my SIM card as I have the SIM card.
I have the phone the insurance company wants it on the Imei Blacklist.
Every time I tried use yesterday to get that I got told we can only block the sim and then I got told that they can only block the last phone used. Spark tells me different because I'm not a spark customer there's nothing they can do.
All I need is my phone which is an iPhone 6S put on the IMEI Blacklist it was last used on Monday on slingshot mobile so I don't understand why this can't be actioned I will pm you the details

Its the IMEI they need blocked, not the SIM.
