Sounddude:xpd:Can't even use Teams now. And I NEED that for work.
Come on @2Degrees , where the hell are you ?
Feeling hurt you didn't come to me @XPD if you are having this much trouble :-) considering we know each other :)
PM me.
Ringing them seems to be primary solution for now...... 36mins for this call so far. CSR went off to chat to someone about it and not returned yet...... I'm hoping that's a good sign that they're getting all the required info this time. :) I'd be more patient normally, but my work relies very heavily on Teams communications, so not being able to use it on mobile devices at home is a nightmare. Sure, mobile data works, but not an option for other Teams users in the house...

Sorry, not caught her name yet, but seems like word is getting round, soon as I said "static IP, IPV6 DNS, connectivity" it triggered them and off they went... things are moving, Im now on CGNAT, then they'll assign a static again which will hopefully fix it all :)

Right, 1hr 14m later, things appear to have been resolved. Everything appears to be working again, but on a new static. Thankfully only have a couple of records to update on the domain for that.
So if you are having similar issues, call them on their 0800.
Explain that you have a static, and since the platform migrations, you're having connectivity issues. Mention that you've read that the fix is to remove static, move to CGNAT, then assign new static. They should be able to work it out from there.
If they don't get what you're on about, ask them to talk to their manager/super who should know.
Thanks to @mentalinc for his info :)

So your connection needs to be removed from the old static pool and moved to CGNAT then put on the new pool?
Can't it be done directly?
I am worried that working from home and relying heavily on Teams/Outlook would send me down the same problem when my connection is changed over.

You will 100% have a problem from what I've seen here.
@xpd I shared my account number with @sounddude to look at my records/notes so they can see what was done.
Lets hope some guidance is now being added and shared with all CSR.
But would be better if there was some proper checks added post migration to check everything comes up as expected.

Hi Guys
I am keen to hear from someone who has a 2D static, so we can work out the routing issues before moving to a new static
PM me with your details if this is you.
XPD was too quick :)
There is no IpV6 address applied to the vlan10 interface on the router.
The /56 delegation however works as expected so devices on the network are provided with an IPv6 address.
IPv6 DNS works (ping -6 google.com) will resolve the ipv6 address, then all the packets fail.
i then assume that the devices try to send IPv6 packets to the webserves wtc, which go no where as the vlan10 interface has no ipv6, so the 0.0.0.0 route fails on the router.
Things don't work timeout
Then eventually if you're lucky ipv4 will start to work and you get slow sporadic network

Just sent you a message with my account details. I was gonna call the helpdesk this afternoon but I'll hold off. Let me kow if you need any more info etc.
God I'm glad I currently have v6 disabled as I'm on static v4 and v6; most likely would be causing the same headaches! I'm tempted to turn v6 back on but I'm in teams meetings all afternoon and it probably wouldn't be good!
