With Orcon you never really get a consistent answer to any damn thing.

With Telecom you never really get an answer.

With Microsoft they never really get it.

Orcon is quickly becoming the worst NZ ISP I have used yet, and I've used most of them. They obviously are overloaded, last couple weeks have been abysmal, I had a couple day run of semi-normal speeds, now back to under 1mb NZ and what feels like dialup to the US:

It's not on my side, about 2am I get 17mbit to Chicago. They have oversold capacity for 8am-2am. I moved to Orcon because previous gripes with other ISPs (Slingshot for example) everyone kept giving me 1 answer solutions "Orcon" "Orcon", so I went Orcon and am back to square one, only now locked into a contract :/

@ Pohutakawa hmmm I'd like to but the money is now earmarked for something else maybe it'll go to getting me to Oz to see my son this year ;) now if I could just kick the nicotine habit aswell that'd be an extra $43.50 a week
