shouston: regional advertising???

The regional feeds are the cause of the issue, as explained earlier in the thread. TVNZ are now running additional feeds on their MUX.

TV2 reception on dvb-t is rubbish at the moment as well, it turned to crud about 2 weeks ago. Lots of pixilation and the bottom half of the pic freezes and the colours are distorted. All other channels are fine. Check out 'picture issues on freeviewHD' thread.

So which transponder currently has best PQ? There seems to be periodic picture breakup now that quality is reduced. It seems to me to happen most when the camera starts to pan, but that might just be me...

SmileI thought it was just me aswell so your not the only one.

The bitrate cant handle that amout of information as the camera moves,
The stills I took of th Fword were just random shots taken every couple of seconds and the break up only last 3 frames that show has alot of camera movment so its very noticable.

I miss my Crystalclear DVD qulity TV, it really sucks when your getting into a show/film then SPLAT someones spewed on the screen and you go "$#@$@ Freeview!!"
turn the tv off and watch Youtube, the picture's better qulitySurprised
