Trademe really dont care a rats a** about software piracy. If they did, they would BAN traders caught selling pirated software

I have reported obvious piracy a few times: CD's containing software from 4 completely different Companies, with a dongle that bypassed the copy protection (they come via ebay for $10)
Trademe did nothing each time. So I contacted the NZ distributor of one of those software products, they knew about this sort of thing on trademe & said trademe are
usuless when it comes to stopping piracy . It sounded like they gave up even trying to have these products removed .

On another occasion I bought a game via trademe, and was sent burnt CD's. Reported to trademe, they did nothing.

TradeMe adjusted their rules years back to allow sales of 'Installation keys for software'(ie digital download editions) so you see heaps of people buying keys on other markets to resell here for a quick profit.

Ive complained about sellers selling illegal software etc, TradeMe remove the auction I complained about and left the other 50 auctions from the same seller selling the same thing.

Does not contain Outlook. You have to pay$425 if you want Outlook..

$165pa for Office365 might be more attractive if you have more than one device - license for up to five - or want online storage as each user/device gets 1TB on OneDrive. Plus there is a $25 Visa prezzy card for selecting auto-renewal which should be able to be changed later if you want.

D'oh... Looked at that for the father-in-law (retired, doesn't want subscription) actually.. I just built him a new PC and he can't get his head around thunderbird, or live mail because he's always used outlook.

So Outlook is worth $186

You'd think they'd sell it stand-alone!

Ridiculous, Microsoft!

WHAT THE ACTUAL F***???

And companies wonder why people pirate stuff!

For the father-in-law, I found my old key out of my email, and installed 2007 for him. I haven't had office for years. Google docs and gmail for me.
(always take photos of CD keys and PC keys and email them to yourself)

go with office 365. you get everything +1TB of online backed up cloud storage.

$16 bux a month you cant really go wrong. And on top of that you will get any new things MS bring out like office 20nn when the next one comes out, and you can cancel whenever you want. Their Outlook exchange service is pretty solid too a lot of business' using it now instead of buying an exchange server.

You can get office 365 personal from PB tech for $79.35 inc GST with a $25 prezzy card so $54.35. Actually quite cheap for the first year to try out..

For a single PC.....
Just personally, I dont understand why anyone would go with Office365, or even recommend it.
Only if you have multiple home PC's , then it does start to make more sense.
