HDtracer: Hi, I have a G2 that I brought from Expert Infotech and love it.
I was wondering if anyone knows if it will receive the Kitkat update in NZ as it is an import from Hong Kong or will I need to flash the Hong Kong firmware?
I emailed LG NZ and their reply was i would need to update from the HK website, but I think that is wrong/not possible.
Also I brought a Iloome flex glass screen protector and I feel it is just a little bit smaller than it should be. It looks as though it needs to be 1mm each side bigger and slightly taller too.
I read they made them too big to begin with and they peeled off, but think they went slightly too small when the revised them.

dpresha9: yup second that. usually pretty good - bought a number of phones off them in the past.
having had a Nexus 5 recently, glad i 'downgraded' to LG G2.. mean phone especially the battery life, decent screen. like the comment above said waiting for kitkat though.. and it'll be sorted :D
HDtracer: Wow that is a good price, go for it. I cant recommend this phone enough.
Think I paid around $650 only a couple of weeks ago.
My wife has the Galaxy S4 and thinks the G2 is a better phone with better features. The Q slide feature is awesome.
The S4 seems to take a better low light photo when both are set on auto/normal mode, G2 is better if you mess around with the settings a bit, but both are pretty good cameras.
On another note, why do people get so hung up about Samsung/LG/HTC etc software vs Vanilla Android? I had a play with a Nexus 5 before I purchased the G2 and it has no features like Q slide, multi window etc that are actually super useful.
Kopkiwi: Get the White. The black is a finger print magnet because of it's shinny case.
HDtracer: Its really good on the Vodafone network.
HDtracer: In general I feel its one of the best cameras on a phone out there, just dont rely on the auto modes to automatically take a good photo.
