Had it fully charge and unplugged since 8am tiday. The reading on top line shows goscreenlock wakelock at 1m20 and teh followings are 40s and less. Is that good or bad?

Errr, embarrassing to ask, but my Internet icon is missing from the screen and applications list on my new Telecom SII, are they trying to save me from the perils of the web? If I click a link in an email a browser opens, but I don't have on to select.

Can you see it under menu, applications, manage applications, all? In case you are like me and tend to look for colours rather than words its the blue planety thing.

Edit, Oh wait didnt I read somewhere Telecom phones call it something else?

Edit (the sequel) Check the 4th post down http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=97&topicid=89591

Nofam maybe you could explain the clock/volt settings in your signature or which init.d you use if you do. I read through on XDA and there are just so many, a good place to start would be helpful.

Does a nandroid backup everything in its entirety like a ghosting of a computer does, down to the smallest settings and tweaks even google bar searches like its never been uninstalled?

I only ask cos im about to test out checkrom and it would be easier to revert if it did this

I think one version of the US models does have NFC (there are three different US models - one for each main carrier).

And at the bottom of that page, there is grey text on the black background which states

"Product features and service availability may differ by country"

Hard to read though!

Yeah, nah. . . . .it's pretty much a guarantee, but as to when. . . . . .Last speculation I head was Q2 of 2012. . . .if that's a stable release date, you may see dev builds leaking early next year?

I guess I was thinking of the mod community rather than official channels. Any idea on CyanogenMod 9?
