lokhor: Ok I don't want to sound like a noob but probably will. I want to flash my GSII back to Telecom stock firmware including getting rid of CWM. Is there an easy way to do this using Odin or something?

You know, there's a pretty good guide on that site you are the associate editor-in-chief of...

Chis: Thinking of trying WanamLite (11.4 I guess).? I like 192 dpi though, and seems I might have to use Siyah kernal to get that work.
Anyone using a custom dpi with WanamLite?? I assume Siyah works well and is safe again.
welliegeek: OK total noob here.
Should I be able up upgrade my VF SGII to ICS using Kies yet? I'd rather not go the Odin route but it seems that there is an official ROM out..... When I try in Kies I get "Your device does not support software upgrading via Kies"
Cheers
PS: Kies - what a POS!

That message can occur when you have a mismatched CSC/firmware.
What details do you get when you enter *#1234# in the dialler?

I get:
PDA: I9100XWKE7
PHONE: I9100XXKE4
CSC: I9100VNZKE2
Build Info: Wed May 18 16:08:22 KST 2011
It should be the standard VF build as after loading different firmware on phones in the past and jailbreaking my previous iPhone I just wanted to stay standard this time around :)
