Got this case from H2Phone http://www.trademe.co.nz/Mobile-phones/Accessories/Cases-protectors/Samsung/auction-390970679.htm

Very happy, not too bulky and grippy enough.

Screen protector is not very clear, ruins the look of the screen.
Search continues for a better screen cover.

Good choices here.

I chose the Oleophobic pack which I'm happy with as it's hardly detectable on the SGS2 (only the edging gives it away on close inspection).  It does have more 'streaks' after a little use, but these are easily cleanable with cloth and no residue remains (hence oil-res).

I wasn't to keen on the 'matte film' listed ones as to me that says "misty".  May try it one day out of interest though.

Approx $24nz all up with cheapest freight/mail option.

Hey guys, having bought a clarivue protector for this. I have to say...STAY AWAY. It doesn't cover the whole phone. I'm talking about it not covering almost 1cm near the home button. It doesn't cover anything close to the speaker and the home button. It doesn't even come close to the edge of the home button. That's a huge bit of screen to leave uncovered. When I contacted them, they said that this was to prevent bubbles and would not offer a refund. I advised that they should make this clear on their website and also put up honest photos but they declined to do so. So yea, just spreading the word. Deal with Clarivue at your own risk.

Quick update guys, I got the Momax protector from that trademe link (he even bundled the shipping on a protector for the wife's Galaxy Ace as well).

Its an excellent protector, not as bulky as the case mate tough and I'm very impressed. Fits well all around and very nice and grippy to hold. Highly recommended.

cheers Dave
