Hello. We purchased a robo lawn mower, the Gardena Sileno Minimo 250, for a small section of our fenced in yard. We are having trouble with the mower and cant find anyone that has any experience with them. Calling the company is more than alittle frustrating. We are pretty sure it is set up correctly. However the mower seems to only like to head to the right and only mow a small 20 x 10 foot section. Over and over again. Does anyone have any suggestions?? We cannot figure it out. TYIA

That sounds weird. I've no experience with robo mowers. Can I suggest creating a video showing the issue, uploading it to YouTube or similar video sharing platform (perhaps don't make it public!) and send the link to the retailer to ask their thoughts? Perhaps stress that the video is private so you aren't publicly shaming them and just showing them what is going on. If someone else does the filming then you can show the mower's action and record what the app is showing as well.

The retailer may not be very well equipped to help troubleshoot this sort of thing. Consider creating a support ticket with the manufacturer.

I have a Husqvarna Automower and I defiantly find them to be imperfect - mine is an early model so maybe they are better. With that being said, on ours it was important to do the first calibration well. With the automower to recalibrate you have to go into a hidden menu. No idea if yours is the same. Assuming you have your guide wires set up correctly, and the return wire working then I would recalibrate.

Also the best place to search out this mower and answers is probably Reddit r/automower, lots of people there with knowledge on specific models. You may even find similar issues and ways they solved it.
