Considering the purchase of one. Would be interested to know what your real-world fuel consumption stats are like?

Fuel consumption websites have real world stats at 14l/100KM.
That's pretty scary.

I am sure if you drove it like a granny you could get that down a bit!
It is always the problem when you buy a performance car - regardless of the manufacturers claims, if you want to actually enjoy the performance, you have pay the real price in consumption...

I have a Twin Turbo Diesel now and it's getting just slightly over half that. It goes pretty well too.

A friend of mine has the previous generation wagon, IIRC it's a 2015, with 3l supercharged V6. It doesn't use 14l/100km - much less IIRC - about 10, less on a trip, more perhaps around town. I see the new model uses a conventional torque converter auto, not the DSG previous models used (DSG should be more efficient), and power output is up a bit. Usually I'd say the newer model should be more economical, but maybe not.
Anyway, these things depreciate so violently that fuel cost should be the least of your worries.

I didn't see that website did have both MPG and l/100 and my manual conversion seems to have failed me somewhat. Having said that feel that had it of been correct, a $2500 difference in cost of running a car per year is hardly insignificant esp if you are going to have depreciation on *top*!
Batman: The MY18 RS4 is twice as powerful ... and RRP only a few quid more (of new), and has lower fuel consumption ...
I would *love* an RS4. Not quite enough to give away my kids for, but I can tell you they are very lucky they are so cute :)
Everytime I go to an Audi Dealer I have to apologise for drooling.
Money no object, I'd have a 2019 RS4 Avant today.

Yup, have not stopped dreaming about this car since I knew of it. Which was about last month. *Heads off to the local Lotto store ...

Very difficult to take any meaning from these fuel consumption charts. It depends on so many things.
Town vs Freeway
Boy racer driving style (driving at the red line lots) vs slow and steady
Hill vs Flat - driving around hilly places alone will cause a 50-80% increase in fuel consumption

Stop it!
You're killing me.
My diesel 4.2 v8 twin turbo q7 does 10-12L per 100, as low as 9 on a trip

I would love it if they made a Diesel S4. My 335 has SO much torque. It's delicious.
