Hello,
Earlier this week, Chrous setup Spark VDSL (unlimited) at my home in Three Kings. Prior to that I had Spark ADSL (unlimited). I have a phone line too, so it's not a naked connection.
Since getting VDSL I have noticed Netflix freezing much more often than before.
In the past for ADSL, I used a Draytek Vigor 120; I cannot recall connection speeds as I never really had concern to check. Now for VDSL, I use a Draytek Vigor 130 and it looks like my VDSL connection speeds are approximately 17M (down)/1M (up).
Two things concern me a little:
1. My VDSL connection seems more unstable than my old ADSL connection.
2. I was hoping for faster download speeds on VDSL.
Here is some info from my Draytek Vigor 130 VDSL modem (taken a few hours after a power outage in the area):
I live directly east of Big King reserve in Three Kings, relatively close to the cabinet on Duke Street and Mount Eden Road: https://gis.geek.nz/chorus/@-36.9018863,174.7488878,15z
I don't know enough to assume that there is a problem or if it's just tough luck; can someone with an understanding of the information above please advise?
