i have an okta mondo and up by the battery icon theres an icon that says EV in a little red box, it hasnt always been there and i cant find it in the user manual... anyone got any ideas what it is? and how to get rid of it

The EV means that the mobile is connected to the network, in this case EVDO. It will change when you move into 1X coverage areas, and read 1X. You can't remove it.

When the phone is in EVDO coverage, it will display 'EV'

sweet as cheers guys.

does anyone know what the internal memory on these phones is? i realise i need a memory card for any decent size but i tried downloading a song off my computer and it said it was too big so im guessing the internal memory is pretty small?
