Hi Folks

I've recently (few weeks back, just got time to come up for air) set up an asterisk (trixbox) for vfx.  After early hickups things seem to
have settled down, except for one last snag...
No incoming calls.

Steve Biddle has been very helpful with ironing out the bumps, but we couldn't figure out the 'no incoming calls'.  He suggested
a registration problem and thought it had been a hickup in the past with vfx & I should look for past posts, this came up:
http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=65&topicid=57504

Calls out are fine.

What makes me suspicious about registration is trixbox admin > PBX > PBX Settings > Admin : System Status shows:
IP Trunk Registrations 0

From the cli I get:
trixbox1*CLI> sip show registry
Host                            Username       Refresh State                Reg.Time
as.wxcnz.net:5060               register=995       120 Rejected
1 SIP registrations.

Any ideas?

Many thanks,
Morgan.

Send me your details, I had a look and see one Customer listed under your name here,

They have a asterisk profile with 2 lines but have a pap2t and a spa901 registered against each line, so not sure if this is the the right account

Sent you one back, calls are being sent to you and appear to be answered as I see the SIP messaging come back from you with a 200 Ok.

It also appears that you are registering the devices not the asterisk box as it is the 901 and pap2t that have registrations not the trix box, possibly why you have the registration state as failed maybe

Can you please PM the registration string that you are using? as Phil has pointed out we only see requests from your Pap2t and 901.  Are you using as.wxcnz.net or pan.wxnz.net? if you are using as.wxcnz.net you will need to add an entry to your hosts file as: 58.28.20.150 as.wxcnz.net

Cheers

Josh

Tricks for young players: when entering the registration string provided by WxC in a Trixbox gui (cf. vanilla /etc/asterisk/sip_registrations.conf) remove the leading "register=" from the string...

Thanks guys.
M.
