Not sure where to post this as I must admit I'm flummoxed.

I have one PC which cannot access Amazon.com / uk in any web browser (Chrome, Firefox, IE) connection timeout. All other websites tried work fine. My other PC mac book pro had the same problem but only for 10 mins or so. All phones / tablets other devices can access fine.

Details:

Win 10 Pro - creators edition (1703 OS Build 15063.483)
Bigpipe 100mb fibre

Things I've tried

  • Disabled firewall
  • Attempted to rollback creators update - but option does not exist as more than 10 days
  • Tried all the browsers
  • Restart
  • 4g hotspot
  • Google - no one else reports similar
  • Ping is fine resolves 54.239.17.7
  • All windows updates up to date

My working theory is that it might have something to do with IP6 or the TLS handshake for the https amazon.com connection. However when I examine the certs on my mac I don't see anything untoward. I also don't use this PC very often so unsure whether amazon has ever worked since installing the creators edition.

Any ideas?

EDIT resolved by changing the DNS settings looks like I had a GEO unblocker DNS in the IPv4 settings. Strange thats its worked that way for months.

So replying to myself here.

Just tried using a direct ethernet connection and amazon.com works?!?

Next step is to remove and reinstall the WLAN drivers unless anyone has a better suggestion.

Fine here on MS Wdoz 10 v 1703 using Chrome.

Not sure I follow, but the site is Amazon.co.uk not .com.uk or am I missing something?
