I have an iMac and want to run some Windows based programs. I heard that VMware Fusion was the way to go but thought a free trial was safer than purchasing the software up front. I completed the download, but when I went to instal the product, I was asked to supply the product serial number. Going back to the website, I find that the serial number is only available if you purchase it. Sort of conflicts with the "free" bit!
Is there a solution to this other than buying the software without being able to trial it first?
