I would like to know what everyone thinks about people who bid on auctions, and then request (as a question) to have their WINNING bid removed. I think it is really annoying and it should not be allowed. I would actually post this on the particular forum for the online trading site in question, but not only do they limit how much you can say, I have read posts about how they can be prone to remove any posts that they find and determin as discrediting. Have a look at this discussion and email exchange from one such bidder recently. I will presume you can work out which discussion is me.

Thanks for your reply. I respectfully ask that you complete the trade.
It would be unfortunate to have to resort to the actions that are available to the seller, when an auctionee does not buy.
These include
- post negative feedback
- contact trademe for compensation on the sellers fee which has ALREADY been deducted from my account and have trademe follow up.
- post a complete and transparent script of our email conversation.
You know that sending a question to ask for your bid to removed has absolutely no standing what so ever. You have not traded so many times on trade-me in such ignorance.
I would again ask that you politely respond to me request to complete the trade.

As my request for a withdraw of my leading bid was not action upon and it's
quite clearly stated during the Auction. It could be a matter of neglecting
Buyer Questions and not answering them.
