First time poster but long time reader of the forums :)

Was just wondering if I could get some additional information about internet options in hoon hay - christchurch, as I am moving into a new house in a couple of months and want to have the best internet I can...... for the right price ofcourse ;)

So ill be using the internet mostly for gaming, torrenting, and streaming, so will most likely need quite a bit of data allowence, iv had telstra clear / Vodafone cable internet service since I can remember and have always loved it, but as iv only had this internet i wouldn't have a clue what other internet is like these days :).

So is the Vodafone warp speed plans still some of the best around, or should i explore some of these vdsl plans?

I have looked on the internet for speeds/prices but don't really trust what the providers say the speeds are, as that's best case scenario and quite often very untrue.

Also if i kept using the Vodafone warp speed plans, would i be better using my own wireless router ran through the standard modem it comes with, or are the Vodafone wireless modems good enough?

Any help on the topic would be great
