Hi All,

First post here, looks like a great place for us NZ Geeks :D

Anyway, heres the computer I plan on gettign for my birthday in a week or 2. How does it look to fit the stated specs?

TV Tuner Card: http://www.c1com.co.nz/shop/step1.php?number=14051
CPU: http://www.c1com.co.nz/shop/step1.php?number=13136
Case: http://www.c1com.co.nz/shop/step1.php?number=7692
RAM: http://www.c1com.co.nz/shop/step1.php?number=10938 X2
OS: http://www.c1com.co.nz/shop/step1.php?number=10210
Mouse: http://www.c1com.co.nz/shop/step1.php?number=6421
DVD Drive: http://www.c1com.co.nz/shop/step1.php?number=11748
Graphics Card: http://www.c1com.co.nz/shop/step1.php?number=11461
Motherboard: http://www.c1com.co.nz/shop/step1.php?number=11870
HDD: http://www.c1com.co.nz/shop/step1.php?number=8484
PSU: http://www.c1com.co.nz/shop/step1.php?number=12632
Screen: http://www.c1com.co.nz/shop/step1.php?number=13581

So how does it look? Its just in my budget of around $1700. thats including the cost of having C1 build it ($45).

Any help at all is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Matthew

Mostly fine. If there isn't a really good reason for using Vista 64bit then go with the 32. There's just a bit more support out there if you run into trouble with the htpc side.
Try and find ddr800 ram, you've got ddr667, doesn't matter that much but the motherboard is ddr800.
You wont be doing high end gaming at high res with that video card, it'll be ok for mid-range stuff and perfect for htpc.
Thats a good price on that AOC, I have the same model. All good.
