im working on a laptop thats having issues with itunes, and i realy cant figure out whats wrong, they said it disipared, so i looked it was there, but it wouldnt run
the laptop is a tosiba notebook windows vista home premium servicepack 1 2gb memory 32-bit
i get that error ive uninstalled and reinstalled but still get it everytime, anyone know a fix for this?
It is possibly a problem with quicktime. Uninstall quicktime, or quicktime alternative. resintall it, and see if that works. Do not install it as part of the itunes package. I might even be able to perform a 'repair' from the quicktime installer, once you have downloaded it.
I updated itunes lastnight, and got the same errors. To resolve it, I uninstalled, iTunes, Quicktime and any quicktime alternatives. Eg qt-lite.
Restarted, reinstalled iTunes, and it now works fine. So check if you have any alternatives to quicktime installed. Remove them, and the official Quicktime, and iTunes, restart and reinstall.
What about quicktime? Have you made sure any/all apple installs to do with itunes have been uninstalled? Or even removed from your program files folder?
