I installed a Belkin dongle on my XP computer and installed Sony-Ericsson software and was able to sync my T616 all of the time.
Later I installed SP2 and my system contunued to work without a hitch.

Now I have purchased a new computer and having read the article about SP2 automatically recognizing bluetooth I installed SP2. Then I plugged in my Belkin dongle and it was immediately recognized by XP. I then brought up the Bluetooth in my control panel and got my T616 paired with my dongle. I thought everything was going great. I then installed the Sony software. That gave me a Dial up networking and the XTND sync software.

Then everything stopped working. My T616 was still paired, but the connection was very spotty. In fact there is no connection showing in the Bluetooth devices, the phone is there but there is no connection. When I am running the dial-up networking the devices panel shows connected for a few seconds, then nothing (this is repeated several times) Dial up networking does not not connect. I have changed Dialup networking to enable the Com ports shown in Bluetooth devices.

I do have a Wii-Fi network and a 2.4 phone, but I have had them from day one. I never had a problem when I was running pure Belkin software.

I have tried to even reinstall the Blekin software, but it will not work at all, it does not see the phone at all. I assume there are conflicts with the Belkin stack and the SP2 stack.

I have followed every instruction I could find both on Geek Zone and Microsoft, but my paired phone does not connect for more than a few seconds with Bluetooth.

Help!!!

I have a document from Widcomm showing how to install their drivers if users don't want the SP2 Bluetooth stack. I'll write about it a little later and link here.
