this is my first post, even though I've been lurking for about 6 months. (I'll qualify that - this is my second post, after I posted more than once on my first post due to being taken to a blank screen when clicking "Create Topic" - rather, it created confusion.)

In recent months I set up a Linksys WRT54GL wireless router to my D-Link DSL-502T modem (probably not the best modems, but it came with a 3 year warranty which was tempting after having 2 modems fail in 2 years).

I have used uTorrent in the past, and managed port forwarding without too much effort. This time, with the wireless router, the icon at the bottom of the uTorrent screen remains red.

Networking is not one of my strong suits, and I am having problems port forwarding with a discrete router in the mix. I think I have set up the router okay, but I cannot work out what to do to the modem, nor where to enter it.

Can someone please run through this with me? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
