I really hope someone out there can help me, I'm about to go insane.

I installed soleil about three years ago when I was visiting Finland because my original bluetooth usb adapter had been broken on the flight over and soleil was the only thing I could find that resembled my previous adapter (that didn't cost an arm and a leg).

It gave me problems right from the start when I tried to get it to sinc with my Wacom 3 drawing tablet but after fiddling around for a few hours it eventually worked.

After returning home I got rid of the device because the software didn't work correctly now that I had ventured back to the states, so I just got an exact replica of my previous adapter. Things worked fine once the adapter was installed but when I tried to remove soleil it wouldn't budge from the add/remove programs list. I had to wait almost an hour for the uninstallation to fail and tell me the program couldn't be removed because all of the files couldn't be located. So, I just let it be since it wasn't conflicting with my other bluetooth software.

It wasn't until I had to replace the adapter, yet again, because it had broken over time. I went with a new program called rocketfish. The uninstallation of WIDCOMM went smoothly and rocketfish took it's place. It worked a few times, maybe once or twice before my tablet began to act strangely. My pen's sensitivity no longer works and considering I make almost half my income through my art.. that's a huge problem.

I contacted technical support and the first thing the technician asked when I explained my problems was, "Do you have Bluetooth Soleil?"

My heart dropped into my bowels.

So, this is my dilemma.
I have tried removing the program via the add/remove programs screen and it shows in the list but won't uninstall. I get this message:

An installation support file could not be installed.
The system cannot find the file specified.

I've tried going into my Computer Management Device Manager but Soleil doesn't show on the list.

I've tried going into my program files and seeking out the uninstall driver myself but it's not there, however the uninstall icon is. (I found that to be strange.)

There is also no uninstall option via the menu screen when Soleil is running.

What the hell do I do?
I can't find an uninstall driver on the internet either.. am I just not looking in the right places?

Help. Cry
- Lauren.

Have you tried installing it again, from a CD, and then uninstalling? Or see if the CD lets you uninstall it?

I no longer have the CD, that's why I've been searching for the driver on the internet. :/

I'm really at the end of my rope. I normally don't get so frustrated with pc problems but considering it's having a negative impact on my income and since it's so close to Christmas, I'm honestly about to reformat my entire computer just to get rid of this.
