Hi All, I'm having internet problems with a TP-Link WR941 router connected to a CPE to Compass wireless.
The PPPoE connection seems to connect alright, but after about 10 minutes, we experience major problems  loading websites, also speedtests will quite often time out and won't complete. In general it becomes unusable.  If I connect the computer direct to CPE and use Windows to login, I have no problems.
I have tried another router and experienced the same issues.
So apart from User Login and password are there any other settings for PPPoE I need to change to get this to work? The MTU is set to default which I think was 1492.
 Cheers

Check with compass to make sure that is the MTU you should be using, it could be different and what your explaining sounds like an MTU issue, do you have another router you can try? to eliminate the TPLINK?

Just to update, wireless link completely died Sunday night. Waiting for Compass Tech to come out to check aerial and CPE. So hoping issue is related with the wireless link. Cheers
