Are you sure you actually need it? I was in a similar situation with an open-box... well, no-box, Yamaha receiver some years ago and some online searching indicated that it was a bit of a gimmick and rarely if ever needed. Do any receivers from the last ten years or so still have these?

Back in the before times (2020) I gave my ECM-AC2 mic to @HiddenChin ... maybe he'd still have it? You could try him.

Cheers,
Joseph

Oh, I sold that entire home theatre set up a while back. So I don’t actually have the mic anymore

From when I looked at it, which was 10+ years ago, the comments were that the only time it might be needed is if you had really odd acoustics like having your elephant sleep in the middle of the room, or for people who would have one speaker stack jammed against the wall and the other in free space in the middle of the room. For anyone else, decent speakers and following advice on how to position them would do more than a gimmick calibration mike ever would.

I have one and am happy to give it away.  I am in East Auckland and occasionally travel to Newmarket.  Feel free to DM me to arrange to pick up or post.

It really helped with a bad bass issue on a friends system. For one particular place in the room until anything else in the room changed. Close the curtains - really bad again.

It cant help with partner mandated crap speaker placement for everyone in the room.
