I've been experiencing this problem for a week now, I haven't being able to connect to League Of Legends, icloud, pandora, tvnz or download from itunes or download links in general.

I've contacted Slingshot numerous times now, and I feel like I'm just getting shafted.

The internet in general isn't that fast but I can put up with that but when things I pay for I can't connect to or use I start to get frustrated, It's not only me over on the League of Legends forums there is over 20 plus of us experiencing this problem and all of us have contacted you regarding this problem. I pay $100 a month & so I want the service I pay for.

I'd really like it if you could fix this problem ASAP.

It sounds like you are being impacted by the issue raised in this 4 page thread:

http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=81&topicid=128967

You are most likely on a BUBA connection. For some reason there are issues at the moment on these particular connections. Are you on the better network? Or do you live out in the sticks? I don't think EUBA customers are affected.
I have also contacted Slingshot with my concerns. Call centre staff know something is going on, but apparently network operations aren't calling it a fault at this stage. You're not being shafted...They are just a bit slow off the mark.

Sit tight, it will get fixed.

I live in Hamilton city, up until say 6-7 days ago I had no problems with the internet at all , I'm on the naked unlimited plan so IDK if thats BUBA or EUBA , and yeah I assumed so but I'm just sick of ringing and getting the same mechanic response 'No updates yet, NOC team is working on it'

does it do the same thing on all the computers connected to your network?

have you tried using google's DNS servers instead of slingshots to rule that out?

have you tried the 'dignose connection problems' feature that windows has, click on connect to specific website and then point the wizard to one that doesnt work.
