I've been a customer for a number of years and each time tied into a new 12 month contract when I've changed from ADSL to VDSL, VDSL to fibre etc. Frankly I'm tired of all the contracts and being tied into a new one each time I extend to a new service.  To date I've been happy with the service and performance and have stayed with Orcon each time, even when much cheaper alternatives come along - price isn't everything.

I've been tied in for a few years already and frankly I wish I had the choice to not have a contract tacked on each time to enhance my broadband to the "next" thing, I'm ready to jump ship if it means I simply don't have to have this nagging noose around my neck anymore. I like flexibility and freedom.  Time to put an end to these draconian contracts.. if it means an install fee or equipment fee (modem etc) fine, just give me the option.

Yep. The thing that's pushing me into moving to My Republic or Big Pipe is the fact that to get anything done I need a new contract.

Anything I say is the ramblings of an ill informed, opinionated so-and-so, and not representative of any of my past, present or future employers, and is also probably best disregarded.
