I am with them and they're pretty good. Would go to them over Orcon anyday.

Almost get a constant 200/200 on my UFB connection.

I have also moved from wxc/Vodafone recently and performance is great, have not had any issues with either reliability or service. No issues recommending the 2D solution :)

Very happy snapdegrees user reporting in since the early days of vdsl.

Lesser of two evils = 2degrees. Snap was a wonderful ISP, the support level has suffered since the acquisition, speeds are great but downtimes are more frequent recently.

If you go with Orcon, make sure you read the fine print, severance/separation clauses as they will hold them against you if you decide to leave them.

Thanks for all your input. I have signed up with 2degrees, as they have been a great mobile company for me for years.

The wait times for phone support with 2Degrees were terrible. I was waiting 30 minutes for help requests, and from all accounts that was pretty normal.
Yesterday I needed phone support twice and both calls were answered promptly - once immeadiately and the other didn't even go into the queue - which is good news and long may it last.
We swapped from ADSL to UFB a couple of months ago. didn't notice any difference in performance until we bought a new Fritzbox 7490 router.
Previous one a 7340.
I find 2Degrees call reps very helpful.

Welcome aboard letsgo!

We are sure you'll enjoy the service with us.

As others have mentioned above, our service levels did take a bit of a hit during the merger of Snap and 2degrees with longer than usual wait times and email response times, but we've put a heap of effort and extra resource in to bringing these back to the previous Snap levels of before, and we are very nearly there.

Thanks everyone for the support!

I have installed my new Fritzbox and can't receive my 2talk calls anymore. Please can someone help me with the config of my Fritzbox. I was told that the port has be changed to 5060 and open for 2talk and not SNAP.

I was told by 2Degrees to go on geekzone to get help. Great customer service.....

Thanks

I'm far from an expert with VOIP but somehow I've managed to setup 2talk on the Fritz running along side 2Degree's Phone Plus. I didn't open any extra ports, all I did was add it using the New Telephone number option on the Telephone Numbers page using settings provided by 2talk, works like a charm.

Username: phonenumber
Pass: 2talk passwork
Registar: 2talk.co.nz
Proxy: 2talk.co.nz

Assigned it an extension and set 2D as main number.
