Singed a new contract(fibre and mobile) to switch over from another ISP, I expected all would be done within 2 weeks which was estimated and reasonable time frame. Rang them last Thursday, I was told they would txt me when they could confirm the date for connection. They couldn't send me a new sim card at this stage either.
I was a bit disappionted to hear that. I changed ISP or got new connection few times(10 mabye), but never had experience like this time. If I want to bring my number to another mobile company, just need buy a  $5 new sim card, give them a call or do DIY through their website. Then I can enjoy the new network in the next couple of hours.
The third week started today, it seems that there's no update or good news coming up.
Anyone have the same story about slowshot to share?

Hiya,

We can definitely push the Mobile order through before your Fibre connects. Feel free to flick me through a message with your account number if you want me to get it moving.

Cheers

Hi, I need your help. An email from slingshot was sent to me yesterday which said the connetion would be done today, I should stay at home from arount 9am. I came back from work at 9.10,but nobody turned up. I could see the internet and phone was disconnected. So rang slinghsot, and I was told they haven't done anything for the new connection, it was not actived and I need to ring myrepublic to ask them why they stopped the service. I contacted myrepublic, they said that they checked with Chorus order portal, the connection had been moved to another provider, since it's done they couldn't do anything from their end. If I want to put another request from them, it will be quicker if I get slingshot to sort it out. So I have got 2 different stories from 2 supplies, but issue has already affected me which is no internet and phone at home. Can you please look it up for me as soon as possible? I didn't receive the modem either, it should turn up before the connection is actived? Thanks again.
