Friend has Sky connected to his main TV, no issues, but also has it feeding from a SCART (SCART to RCA) output on the Sky box, to a Sky supplied RF modulator which then feeds to a second TV in another room.
Everything was running fine until about 6 months ago, when the signal stopped getting to the 2nd TV.
So today while I was there, I tried everything I could think of to get it working, but no go....
Took the 2nd TV to where the Sky box is, and connected direct from the modulator to the TV using a short cable. No go.
Connected SCART cable direct to 2nd TV RCA inputs, eliminating modulator. No go.
I initially thought maybe a rat had chewed on the cable run, now I'm looking at the Sky box - why won't it output to the SCART connection anymore ? Does Sky have the ability to turn this functionality on/off ?
I've bought the TV home with me just to confirm that its not at fault (will plug PS3 into it) but highly doubt it. Other option is to take RCA cables to the house and use those instead of the SCART->RCA, but suspect it'll still go nowhere.
Ideas ?
