While I was in Australia over the hols, my father decided it was time to learn to text.  His first messages were fine, but it would not send!  He took it into the next town (Kadina) to get it seen to and the lady very kindly re-entered the message centre number.  I had forgotten how many times an angry customer had come in, only for me to re-do the message centre number.  I wrote it down for him along with the page number in the manual, with strict instructions only to be used in unison with Telstra's customer service centre. 

I wonder if Telecom has the same system on CDMA?
