Hi there, I'm having this weird issue with the sound from my TiVo, I'm using a toslink cable from TiVo to my soundbar and no issues there watching live TV, but when I go to watch recorded programs I get no sound, nothing outputs to my soundbar, what solution do I have.

Output through the TV speakers via the HDMI connection. Then plug a headphone jack from tv to soundbar.

Thanks for the reply, that's a possibility but would I won't get sound from the tv, I did find a setting that's sorted this issue out..but another has become noticeable, there's a lip sync issue from the soundbar (it's about 3m away from tv on wall) live TV is acceptable but from recorded programs it's quite noticeable delay, I always thought that toslink cable was superior to 3.5mm or would HMDI be "better" for this delay.
