If you're wanting to do a lawn then I don't think this would work - I think it's more likely to shred your lawn and rip up the surface (could be wrong though). Blades do cut grass well but it depends how many obstacles you have or how close you need to get to walls etc - I greatly prefer them (especially for avoiding the plastic debris - still find bits of orange string from over 10 years ago), but we don't really have lawns.

I have a stilh weed eater pain in the ass , takes for ever to start and prime, mixing the petrol is very time consuming and the bump and feed never works. It took me more time to get the thing going than the actual weed eating . I ended up getting a black and decker battery one great value the Stilh one gathers dust in the garage these days

Just looking for something that'll do a bit of edging, go round trees without attacking the bark too much and along the retaining, which is also wooden (that vertical semicircular stuff), and isn't orange string.

I've looked into this once before for my Black+Decker 900 Watt Electric Line Trimmer 33cm Cut
MODEL: GL933-XE and if memory serves me it wont fit this machine and I get the impression (could be wrong) that it wont fit any AC or DC line trimmers.

The product does not get great reviews 2.7/20 on https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/littl-juey-curved-shaft-head

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

I tried the little juey once and didn't like it but I don't understand some of the negative comments. If I was to use a fixed line device it would be the alloy disc type.

I've used wire brushes on drills and angle grinders etc in industrial scenarios. Wire detaches from the brush that's the reason for safety gear like glasses etc. This seems like a bad idea. Do you want random brush wire on the lawn?

Used these wire brushes to strip paint from a metal balastrade recently. They work pretty well but did scratch my watch face quite noticably. At least it wasn't skin! I don't see how they work for a line trimmer? I would think they spin way too fast....?

I've got these or something very similar. Mine is about 10 years old. Starts easily.

Multi Tool Power Head which I use with one of these Multi Tool Edger Attachment and one of these Multi Tool Line Trimmer Attachment.

I mix up 5 litres of fuel at one go that usually lasts me about 6 months. I have a measuring device for the oil and it is very easy to mix.

The line trimmer is a bump feed which works well. The Shindaiwa head is extremely easy to load with trimmer cord, a 5 year old could do it. The line trimmer has no problems handling what I throw at it. I've never considered an after market head.

Vastly superior to the old 230 volt electric ones I had previously. If I were buying today I'd consider battery electric though I'd probably still go with the 2 stroke version.

You can get easy wind up heads these days that make it so simple to spool more wire into the drum. Pull wire halfway through and just twist back and fourth and they self wind, no need to remove parts.

Have petrol and a DeWalt 18v trimmer, holy crap the DeWalt is so powerful but the imbalanced weight distribution leaves your one arm numb and your back to ache.

How often do you have to swap out the line?

Using the standard head that came with my line trimmer it takes me no more than a minute to replace enough line to last a season at a cost of around 50c a time. I reckon that's pretty hard to beat. I must admit some of my old line trimmers were no where near as user friendly.

It looks like a solution looking for a problem.

Actually it looks like someone has taken an industrial rotary wire brush and decided it'd make a good weed trimmer. Bad idea.
