I want one of these: https://www.bbqgrills.co.nz/product/daniel-boone-pellet-grill/
Need some more pellets for mine!
Can't use it if you have no power. No good if you live in an area that is has frequent and lengthy power cuts :)

Ouch!
Yep. We use our current BBQs for rotisseries all the time, so we did pony up the cash for that, despite the exorbitant cost.
Out of interest what do you cook on the rotisserie that you can't use the roasting tray for?
I would have a look at the new bbq's from Heston Blumenthal - available from mitre 10 mega

I'd love one of these:

Probably nothing. We do whole chickens, and beef, pork, and lamb rolls.
I do love how (once you get your timings dialed in), rotisserie is pretty much "set and forget". Although, having to turn a chunk a meat a time or two is hardly THAT burdensome. Guess it comes down to being a creature of habit.

With the Weber Q, you don't have to turn the meat on the roasting tray - so just as easy as a rotisserie.

Had the normal gas BBQ for years before going to a Weber kettle charcoal BBQ - will never go back, absolutely brilliant.
Pop! OS
I've just started looking for a new BBQ too and honestly didn't know where to start until i saw this post a few days ago. Great to see so many positive reviews on Weber Q 2200, sounds perfect for our needs and might be just where we start looking. Thanks GZ community for sharing!
Davy: Maybe, but what are the Webers like for cooking steak - do you really need to use them with the lid down?
they cook great and yes
